- This pyramid melting mold is made of steel, it measures 8" x 8" from the top four corners. Height is approximately 7".
- The steel casting mold is pyramidal with large capacity up to 2L, which could contain 16KG brass / 34.6KG gold / 18.7KG silver / 4.8kg aluminum at a time.
- Please do not forget to preheat the ingot mold before contain the molten metal. Make sure the containner is completely dry. This is a non-negotiable best practice for a safe, successful cast and to reduce thermal shock.
- PAY ATTENTION TO THE TIME of TAKING OUT - Please pay attention to the timing of removing the item. Ensure it is taken out as soon as possible after the metal has just solidified and gained a certain strength. Do not wait until the product has completely cooled down. After complete cooling, the product's strength will become higher, making it very difficult to remove. Of course, for best results, apply a high-temperature lubricant (such as anti-seize paste or graphite coating) to the mold surface and welds before each use.
