Very rare find. This book is in its original condition. I do not know French, so I’m uncertain of the inscription and if it’s from the artist.

The book is housed is a thick brown marbled colored cardboard case. This outer case has been reinforced with tape many years ago.

Once the book is pulled from the case, the soft cover book is again housed in another brown marbled cardboard protective guard which covers only the front, back, and spine. The guard shows wear but is intact with some bound strings showing along with some gaps and pull away, but no tape support.

The book itself is soft cover which has its original protective rice paper covering the front, back, and spine.

As you open the book you immediately notice the raw uncut edges of each page. Each page is a thicker than usual paper. All pages are intact with no rips, no dog-eared corners, and no pen marks

(With the exception of the long inscription at the beginning) which is a rather lengthy inscription on the front section. The book is written in French and is a December 1921 first edition. All lithographs are clean and have their original rice paper protective guard (the rice paper covering each print is loose and can easily be taken out of the book). The bulk of the string bound pages are intact.
