1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.    2. Remove the old Controller.
3. Install the main body of the Controller.   
4. Connect to the negative terminal of the battery and start the engine.
Notes:
 
1. The positive and negative terminals of the CAN bus must never be reversed.
 
2. A reliable ground connection is essential; a loose connection can cause various intermittent faults.
