Please see photos for measurements and overall condition. There is a very small chip to the wood backing on the reverse side of the plaque.

Vintage Mexican folk art wall plaque featuring a Mayan priest figure rendered in colorful cloisonné enamel. This piece is mounted on a black wood backing and features intricate pre-Columbian inspired ceremonial details including a feathered headdress and ornate regalia.

The plaque is marked “Yachitlan” on the reverse and includes the original wall hanger. Believed to be inspired by artwork and murals from the Bonampak region of Chiapas, Mexico.

Beautiful vintage display piece with vibrant enamel colors and strong Mid-Century Mexican folk art appeal.
