Application

It is widely used for screen printing in ceramics, glass, advertising, PCB, photovoltaic, and other industries. It removes excess ink, paint, or other material by sliding it across a screen or other surface.

Grinding Requirements

• The scraper should be clean and dry when grinding, preferably after 24 hours.
• The scraper should be fixed on a supported aluminum clamp for grinding.
• Medium grit (110 mesh-130 mesh) should be used whether the grinder is a belt or wheel type. If the grit is too fine, it can cause clogging or overheating. Fine grit can be ground in the final stage, thus suitable for high-precision printing.
• Please choose a mechanical system with jig, squeegee, and grinding in a steady state.
• Please clean the squeegee with weak and mild solvents (not included) or grind it for more than 2 hours to cool it down before use.

Storage Requirements

• Please do not immerse the squeegee in solvents (not included) for a long time.
• The printing edge of the squeegee needs to be replaced. Due to contact with solvents, the squeegee begins to corrode, and after some time/pressure, the squeegee becomes softer, and the blade structure is damaged. Therefore, the squeegee should be turned over every 2-4 hours. After turning the squeegee over, it is a new printing edge.
• After the squeegee has been used, the ink adhering to it should be cleaned and dried. Cleaning is usually done with a mild thinner (not included). Please wear gloves and clean with a clean cloth (not included).
