Vintage Gump’s catalogue: Fall 1981. This is the oldest Gump’s catalogue we have, and it shows it. It’s not falling apart, but it’s scratched, bent, creased and scuffed. Everywhere. Please review all pictures carefully— and if you need a closer look, please just ask, we only get 24 photos to list, we don’t mind snapping a few more to answer questions.
This item falls in line with the rest of our railroading and Motorsport magazines— for their age, they are in excellent condition. Are they perfect? No. They have the typical dents and dings of any magazine that has been read will have. They are not pristine, but they’re not completely tattered either. They have been stored in an unheated garage near Chicago for decades with a ton of other magazines and photographs. What they definitely have is that vintage musty smell. But the colors are great and they’re completely readable or displayable. If you have any questions, please ask, we are more than happy to send more photos in our answers.
This will ship out in a sleeve. Similar to how we ship photos, it will be layered with cardboard to protect from bending, and will be additionally wrapped to be as waterproof as possible before it’s placed in an appropriate sized envelope for USPS Ground Advantage. Any combined shipping on this item will automatically be upgraded to priority mail because of the weight.
