Released in September 1969, Abbey Road was the final recording session where all four Beatles were in the studio together. It’s a masterpiece of studio production, famous for the Side B medley and its iconic cover art. This particular copy is a true first-run artifact from the initial U.S. release, before the tracklist was "corrected" to include the hidden track. The vibe is the peak of late-60s rock—warm, polished, and legendary.
Condition Details:
• The Media: VG+ — The vinyl retains a beautiful factory mirror-gloss. There are several light surface scuffs and hairlines visible under bright light, but none are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. It should play through with excellent clarity and minimal surface noise.
• The Jacket: VG — Shows significant "honest" ring wear and some foxing (age spotting) on the back cover, as expected for a 50+ year old original. The top seam is cleanly unglued but not torn or split.
The original inner sleeve was discarded due to age, and the record has been moved to a premium Hudson Hi-Fi anti-static poly-lined rice paper sleeve. This ensures archival protection and prevents the "paper rashing" or static common with vintage factory sleeves.
