This is the original 2006 12" promo for the Grammy-winning single from the debut masterpiece Food & Liquor.

​The Sound:

This record features the iconic sample of I Monster’s "Daydream in Blue." Because this is a Sterling J press (mastered by Jay Franco at Sterling Sound), the low-end and the Jill Scott vocals are cut much cleaner than the standard album pressings. It was specifically engineered for radio and club play.

​The Context:

"Daydreamin'" won the 2008 Grammy for Best Urban/Alternative Performance. Finding a copy that hasn't been thrashed by a DJ is rare. This copy is crisp and well-preserved.

​Condition:

​Vinyl: (VG+) – High gloss with deep black luster. No cue burn on the lead-in. Only a few faint hairlines that do not affect play.
