This is a 1 shaku 7 sun (approximately 51.5 cm) shakuhachi made from Madake (Katsura bamboo). It has an outer diameter of approximately 4.5 cm, an inner diameter of approximately 2.1 cm, and weighs approximately 250 g. A dedicated shakuhachi bag is included.
Made from high-quality Madake bamboo, the tip is curved to resemble a bamboo root. The mouthpiece is in the Kinko style.
Easy to produce a sound even for beginners, making it perfect for those starting out with the shakuhachi.
