DESCRIPTION

Vintage Banthrico Antique Autos coin bank featuring a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air design with American Bank advertising on the roof. This heavy cast-metal bank retains its attractive antique gold-tone finish with factory-applied darkened detailing that highlights the body lines and trim.

The bank remains in very nice vintage condition and still rolls properly on all four wheels. Coins can be heard inside when moved, but the bank has not been opened. The bottom access plate is still attached with the original screws. No key is included and, if this bank originally came with one, it is no longer present.

Included is a Banthrico Antique Autos box and plastic bag. The box appears to be from the same Banthrico product line but does not appear to be the original matching box for this bank. The box is marked for a 1953 Chevrolet Corvette coin bank, while this bank clearly shows a molded 1957 license plate on the rear. Please review all photos and determine suitability for your collection.

The box remains solid overall but shows age, storage wear, and paper loss on one side as pictured.
