"  How to Run a Service Station At A Profit  " ( A Complete Manual Covering Every Phase of the Successful Operation of a Service & Super-Service Station).   

A softbound book, with many black & white photos and diagrams of actual Southern California gasoline stations in the 1920s, (some showing 1920s automobiles).  

This book is a great guide in that it describes their design, construction, management and use.
