A very important 1920s book on owning and operating a successful Automobile Gas Station in Southern California.   

The title is:

"  How to Run a Service Station At A Profit  " ( A Complete Manual Covering Every Phase of the Successful Operation of a Service & Super-Service Station)  

A softbound book, with many black & white photos and diagrams of actual Southern California gasoline stations in the 1920s, (some showing 1920s automobiles).  

This book is a great guide in that it describes their design, construction, management and use.   

* Please note: Some of these service stations were built in the wonderful California Craftsman Style of architecture! 

The text is written in English.

This is a First Edition that was published in 1926 by the Battelle Publishing Co., 527-528 Petroleum Securities Building, Los Angeles, California. 

This book is in Very Good condition with age toning, bends, a small closed tear, and only light handling.
