The American Professional II Series Telecaster was developed to meet the needs of modern guitarists. Features include a more comfortable neck, a V-Mod II Tele PU with a more subtle and distinctive twang, and a new top-load/string-through bridge with an improved intonation Bullet saddle.
It offers a new standard of comfort and sound diversity.
・V-MOD II PICKUPS
V-MOD, a PU developed for American professionals, has also undergone a new model change.
All three PUs are voiced differently, producing a classic fender sound with perfect tone balance in every position.
It is basically a warm vintage sound, but the high range is clear and crisp, so the sound is easy to escape.
It faithfully reproduces the nuances of the player.
The natural and unctuous overdrive sound is also attractive, and anyone can enjoy the light and core rock sound.
・careful edge treatment
The edge of the fingerboard side is treated smoothly, and the grip feels like it sticks to your hand.
The back of the neck is painted with "Super-Natural" Satin, a smooth finish with very little friction.
It helps you play fast and light.
・NEW SCULPTED NECK HEEL
The round neck heel provides comfortable fingering when playing in a high position.
By not changing the thickness of the joints, the Fender sound is maintained and the performance is enhanced.
It goes well with V-MOD II PICKUPS, and the sound quality is raised one step further.
・TOP-LOAD/STRING-THROUGH “BULLET” SADDLE TELE BRIDGE
It is a newly designed bridge. Equipped with a brass "Bullet" saddle that reliably transmits string vibration.
Although it is a traditional 3-string saddle, it can be played with a precise pitch.
Each string can be strung from the back of the body or from the back of the bridge, so you can choose the tone and tension with your own feeling.
・SPECIAL ELECTRONICS
By pushing the tone knob, two single coils are connected in series when the PU selector is in the center.
In other words, it is connected in the same way as a humbucker, so it can output a fat and chewy sound that cannot be produced by a normal telecaster.
The Amepro had a good balance from the previous model, but this is just the same as those, it has a royal telecaster sound!! The overall balance is good.
