Thank Christ for the Bomb stands as one of The Groundhogs’ most important and forward‑thinking albums — a politically charged, hard‑edged British psychedelic rock statement originally released in 1970. Blending blues‑rock power with experimental arrangements and Tony McPhee’s distinctive guitar work, the album became a defining moment in the evolution of UK underground rock.
This 2019 Fire Records reissue presents the album with restored audio and period‑authentic artwork, housed in a quality sleeve and pressed on 12" vinyl.
