Oxford’s Scania R series 420 8-wheel lorry represents Scania’s high-mounted versatile design with a rigid flatbed, required in the field of construction, tipping, mixers and grabbing. The Swedish manufacturer also ensured the cab was suitable for day or night accommodation, with high visibility, more interior space and ultimate comfort for drivers.

Our latest release as a crane lorry is decorated in bright yellow and red. The rigid load bed is painted in grey beige, carrying the red and black crane sitting at the cab end of the lorry. The rear body is also painted red. The cab body and wheels are yellow; the sun visor yellow and black; the cab interior, roof hatch window, mirrors and rear mudguards are black and a black finish has been applied to the yellow radiator grille. Registered XK06 LXS from 2006, the model is topped with a transparent orange beacon in the centre above the cab windscreen.  It is all ready for its next call out!
