Future GPX Cyber Formula is a Japanese sci-fi racing anime produced by Sunrise. The TV series originally began airing on March 15, 1991 and consists of 37 episodes. The story follows Hayato Kazami, a young racer who becomes involved in the futuristic Cyber Formula racing world with the advanced machine Asurada.
Asuka Sugo is an important supporting character in Future GPX Cyber Formula. She is connected to Team Sugo and is one of Hayato Kazami’s closest supporters. Throughout the series, she encourages Hayato both emotionally and professionally, making her a memorable heroine of the franchise. She is voiced by Kotono Mitsuishi in the Japanese version.
