Up for sale is an authentic vintage Indonesian Kris dagger from a private estate collection. This piece features a classic straight blade design with unique metalwork.

* **The Blade:** A traditional straight steel blade (visible in image_62.png). The metal shows a dark, smoky layered pattern from the traditional hand-forging process.

* **Unique Pierced Detail:** The steel blade features an intentional, stylized open slit/pierced hole near the handle base (visible in image_62.png).

* **The Hilt / Handle:** Made of polished wood with subtle traditional decorative carvings on the inner grip curve (visible in image_58.png).

* **The Sheath:** Made of wood, featuring a wide upper guard section. The lower body of the sheath is covered in a protective brass metal panel sleeve (visible in image_57.png and image_59.png).

* **Total Length:** Measures approximately 43.5 cm when resting completely inside the sheath, as shown against the ruler in image_61.png.

This item is in very good, stable vintage condition. The wooden handle is solid and free of major cracks. The brass paneling on the sheath shows light surface marks and a beautiful aged patina appropriate for its vintage age. The steel blade has a darkened, rustic look.
