The "Inspired by Gibson Custom" series is a collaboration with the original Gibson custom shop from the Gibson brand "Epiphone". This instrument is the "Inspired By Gibson Custom Tamio Okuda J-45", the second signature model from Epiphone by Tamio Okuda, who will celebrate his 30th anniversary as a solo musician in 2024 and continues to lead the Japanese J-Rock scene. This is a used item that was just manufactured in 2025 and is like new. Thermal aged Sitka spruce top, mahogany sides and back, one-piece mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and rectangular bridge with mother-of-pearl dot inlays, scalloped X bracing, and L.R.Baggs VTC pickup. Adopts special specifications such as the 19th fret end and one-ring rosette. The one-piece mahogany neck is joined to the body with a dovetail joint, similar to Gibson's, and features a thick neck profile based on Tamio Okuda's favorite 1945 Gibson J-45. Enjoy the feel of a vintage Gibson. Adopts a “New Vintage Gloss” finish that slightly reduces the luster of a gloss finish. The combination with "Washed Vintage Sunburst", which reproduces slightly faded colors, creates a look full of vintage texture. The pickguard is a classic teardrop shape in tortoiseshell color that complements the J-45's look. Furthermore, the purfling around the sound hole has the same seven layers as Tamio Okuda's favorite J-45, resulting in a carefully crafted finish that is as close to Gibson's original as possible. Not only the look but also the sound is well reproduced, and the aged Sitka spruce produces a deep and thick tone, allowing you to experience a powerful and cohesive stroke sound.
