Very good condition original WWI French Mle 1886 Lebel bayonet that has a full length 20 ½” blade and an intact hooked quillon. Blade has original bright finish with some scattered gray and brown patina. Guard has mostly brown and gray patinas. White metal allow grip shows some normal handling marks. Lock button functions fine. Fitted in correct original nonmatching numbered steel scabbard that has mostly brown patina with some original black paint remaining. No dents. A nice French Lebel bayonet for your collection.
