Product Introduction: Fine Molds 1/72 Aircraft Series: U.S. Air Force F-4E Fighter Early Model Vietnam War plastic model kit. The U.S. Air Force F-4 E model which served in the Vietnam War joins our F-4 family. While the F-4 struggled against North Vietnamese MiG fighters during the Vietnam War the E model was equipped with a 20mm Vulcan cannon enabling it to engage in close combat and overpowering the North Vietnamese Air Force's MiGs. While the U.S. Air Force's early F-4E shares the same basic shape as its JASDF counterpart the F-4EJ which is a modified version the nose Vulcan cannon tip shape is different and this kit includes additional parts. This kit also recreates the aircraft painted in Southeast Asian camouflage a combination of green yellow-green and brown. Kit Features: - Recreates the early F-4E from the Vietnam War. - The nose Vulcan cannon tip shape is supported by additional parts. The vertical stabilizer's RHAW antenna is also compatible with a dedicated part. This model recreates the aircraft's Southeast Asian camouflage. The fuselage center is molded as a single piece using a slide mold. Visible part division lines are separated by panel lines wherever possible. The cockpit interior and other details are precisely recreated using laser engraving. The small holes in the splitter vanes are also engraved. The interior of the aircraft's ventral heat exhaust and landing gear wells are also precisely recreated. The canopy can be displayed open or closed. The closed canopy is a separate part. The horizontal stabilizer is designed to allow for easy and precise adjustment of the mounting angle. The tail heat-resistant plate is a separate part. Assembly is possible after painting. The completed model measures approximately 266mm long 164mm wide and 69mm high. The model includes 156 parts plus decals. Two sets of markings are included.
