For your consideration is a vintage stoneware lid marked ‘2’. It is pretty much exactly 6 inches diameter. Please note that it has a slight wobble when on a flat surface. I gave it a quick bath in warm soapy water but that’s all I’ve done to it. It has some discoloration from who knows how many yeas of sitting around and may (or may not) clean up more with a more aggressive cleaning. It has no chips or cracks.
