Decals: This sheet contains decals for two United States Army Air Force (USAAF) Republic P-47D Thunderbolt aircraft, one serving with 346th Fighter Squadron (FS), 350th Fighter Group, 12th Air Force (AF) flown by Lieutenant (Lt) Raymond Knight and one serving with the 63rd FS, 56th FG, 8th AF flown by Lt Russ Westfall.

Includes Yellow bureau numbers, White aircraft codes including a large set for the nose surfaces of the 350th FG P-47, superb nose art in the form of White “OH JOHNNIE” titles for the nose surfaces of the 350th FG P-47D, Yellow-Orange outlined  in Black, “Anamosa II” titles under art work of a Indian squaw cartoon character on an Orange-Yellow disc edged in a thin Black band for the nose surfaces of the 56th FG P-47D,  350th FG P-47 D aircraft markings in the form of large 346th FS “flying Goofy” unit badges for either side of the fuselage in front of the Star and Bar and Black and White checks for the upper rudder surfaces, half D-Day invasion stripes for the fuselage of the 56th FG P-47D, Black data blocks, White pilot and ground crew names, propeller markings, a set of data/stencils including Black NO STEP titles, Red not step blocks for the inner roots wing walks etc and two sets of Stars and Bars for the fuselage and wing surfaces, with the fuselage Stars and Bars divided into segments so that they can fit over the intercooler doors on the fuselage side.

There are sufficient decals to complete one of the two P-47 Thunderbolt aircraft from the sheet in full, both using kit data/stencils.  The 350th FG P-47 is finished in Dark Olive Drab uppers over natural metal lowers with Black and White checked rudder surfaces. The 56th FG P-47D is finished in RAF Dark Green uppers over natural metal lowers with Red nose cowl ring.

Also includes a detailed single sided A4 black and white placement guide showing side, upper and lower profiles as well as the data/stencil locations.
