This is a vintage 80s "Mom" drip-glazed stoneware coffee mug. It measures 3.5" tall. The ceramic has developed natural aesthetic craquelure under the glaze over the decades (see photos); it's otherwise fine.
The cup's primarily a warm cream color with a brown and tan drip glazed upper rim and interior. One side features a hand painted arc of pink flowers over the word 'Mom' rendered in black strokes and accented with a soothing blue ribbon bow.
It has a wonderful, old-timey feel to it and looks great when steaming pleasantly on a table or hung from a kitchen hook between uses. Whether you're looking to replace a beloved mug from your childhood or simply looking for a bit of country charm to add to mom's mug rotation, this handmade cup's got you covered.
Released in 1986 by Oriental Trading Company (OTC). Hand painted and drip-glazed. We recommend handwashing this item to keep it looking its best.
