Issue No. 61, "The Disappearance of the Creator," published in 1965, is composed of "self-carved woodblocks," meticulously printed by Takei himself, with each color carefully layered. Within its charming, palm-sized "lovely print," Takei Takeo's unique humor and fantastical colors are beautifully condensed. With each turn of the page, the warm texture unique to woodblock prints and the timeless artistic spirit are directly conveyed. His handwritten signature remains intact. This is a limited edition of only 300 copies, produced exclusively for members of the "Friends of the Society," and the serial number is a low 10 or less. The protective paraffin paper is also beautifully preserved.
