No.68 Sakadachi Kankuro

Description

About This Item

  1. Issue No. 68 of "Gyakutachi Kankuro," published in 1967, is composed of "self-carved woodblocks," with Takei himself carving the woodblocks and carefully layering each color. The charming "Karenban" size, which fits in the palm of your hand, beautifully condenses Takei Takeo's unique humor and fantastical colors, and with each turn of the page, you can directly feel the warm texture unique to woodblock prints and the timeless artistic spirit. The handwritten signature is also clearly visible. This is a limited edition of only 300 copies produced for members of the "Friends' Association," and the serial number is a low single digit. Opportunities to see such a low number on the market are extremely rare. The paraffin paper used for protection is also beautifully intact.
