Vintage Kunz Germany Spokeshave Lot No. 65 & Compass Round Bottom Woodworking Tools

Lot of two vintage Kunz woodworking spokeshaves made in Germany.

This lot includes:

• Kunz No. 65 Spokeshave – approximately 10.5 inches overall length with a blade width of approximately 2-1/16 inches.

• Kunz Compass (Round Bottom) Spokeshave – approximately 9.5 inches overall length with a blade width of approximately 2-1/16 inches.

Both tools retain their original green painted bodies and red adjustment caps. Blades, caps, and adjustment hardware are present. Tools show normal wear from age and use including surface rust, oxidation, paint loss, scratches, staining, and other cosmetic wear. Cutting edges may benefit from cleaning and sharpening before use.

The No. 65 is designed for general shaping and smoothing work, while the compass spokeshave is designed for shaping curved and concave surfaces.
