Bond It 1/5L Tile Primer Flexible Admixture Tiling Wall Floor Prime Preparation

Description:
A specially formulated acrylic dispersion for use as a primer prior to tiling or as an additive to cement based tiling
products to improve adhesion and flexibility.

Uses
As a primer: to prepare and stabilise porous and dusting surfaces
prior to tiling and to improve adhesion on difficult substrates, such
as vinyl tiles, timber, asphalt and terrazzo, etc. Also prevents
swelling of timber.
As an admixture: to improve the flexibility and adhesion of cement
based adhesives and grouts in situations subject to slight
movement or vibration.
To increase the performance of Bond It RAPID-SET
(C1F) and make it suitable for use with Porcelain tiles
add 2.5 Litres of PRIMER AND FLEXIBLE ADMIXTURE
per 20kg bag of RAPID-SET.

Preparation
For use as a primer: surfaces must be clean, structurally sound,
dry, flat and free from dust, oil, grease, old polish and any other
contamination that may prevent adhesion.
For use as an admix: For surface preparation refer to individual
products recommendations.

Application
As a primer: Shake the bottle before use. Apply a single coat of
PRIMER, to the substrate ensuring complete coverage. Allow to
become tack free before commencing tiling. If left without tiling
overnight a second coat should be applied. Apply adhesive and
tiles as normal practice.
As an admix: add up to 5 Litres per 20Kg bag of adhesive or grout.
High dosages may effect the setting time of some products.

Cleaning
Clean tools immediately with soap and water before the product
dries.

Coverage
As a primer: 1 Litre will cover 5-10m2 dependant on porosity of
surface.
As an admix: Up to 5 Litres per 20Kg of cement based adhesive or
grout.

Colour
Milky white liquid.

Shelf Life
24 months from date of manufacture when stored in sealed
bottles.

Storage Conditions
Store in cool, dry conditions. Protect from frost, high
temperatures and direct sunlight.

Disposal of Containers
Do not leave empty containers where residue could be harmful to
children, animals or the environment. Replace lids and remove
any containers to a central disposal point in accordance with local
regulations.
