Description:
A premium grade fungal resistant brilliant white waterproof ceramic tile adhesive and grout conforming to EN
12004:2007 Type D, Class 2. Designed to permanently fix and grout ceramic wall tiles in areas subject to
prolonged damp conditions.

Uses
Bond It FIX ‘N’ GROUT TILE ADHESIVE is a brilliant white water
resistant wall tile adhesive and grout ideal for fixing and grouting
tiles in kitchens, bathrooms, toilets and showers.
This ready to use adhesive and grout is suitable for use on:
gypsum plaster; concrete render; brick; plywood; blockboard; fibre
cement sheet; glazed tiles and most common building materials.

Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are dry and free from dirt and any other
contaminants that may hinder adhesion. New plaster should be
allowed to thoroughly dry out for a minimum of 4
weeks and primed with Bond It PRIMER & FLEXIBLE
ADMIXTURE prior to application. Existing plaster should
have any holes or cracks filled and be primed where
necessary, and timber should be sealed with Bond It
PRIMER & FLEXIBLE ADMIXTURE prior to application.

Application
Apply the adhesive using a 6mm notched trowel to a depth of
3mm with the ribs running horizontally, and only working with an
area that can be completed within 15 minutes (approximately
1m²). Tiling can either take place from the top or bottom
depending on application by pressing the tile firmly into the
adhesive with a twisting action, and leaving a 1-2mm
space around each tile. Any adhesive on the front of the
tile should be removed with a damp cloth immediately
and the tiles left for 4-8 hours prior to grouting.
For tiles larger than 250 x 300mm a cement based
powder adhesive, such as Bond It CTA FLEXIBLE, should
be used.

Limitations
Bond It FIX ‘N’ GROUT TILE ADHESIVE is not recommended for use
on floors or areas subject to continuous water immersion e.g.
swimming pools, ponds and external use, or for use where the
ambient temperature is below 5°C. Note: May cause
discolouration of some types of marble.

Coverage
Approximately 2-3Kg/m² per litre for tiling and 5Kg/m² per litre for
grouting.

Container Size
3.75Kg and 1.5Kg plastic tubs.

Colour
Brilliant white paste.

Shelf Life
12 months from date of manufacture when stored in original,
sealed tubs.

Storage Conditions
Store in cool, dry conditions between a temperature of 2°C and
30°C. Protect from frost.

Disposal of Containers
Do not leave empty containers where residue could be harmful to
children, animals or the environment. Replace lids and remove
any containers to a central disposal point in accordance with local
regulations.
