Antique embossed Valentine postcard featuring a beautifully dressed lady holding a dove, with cherubs, red heart accents, flowers, and a bright silver foil-style background. The front reads “A Token of Love” and “A Valentine.”
This is marked Valentine Series No. 29 on the back and appears to be an early 1900s divided-back postcard. It is used, written on, stamped with a green 1-cent Franklin stamp, and appears to be postmarked around 1910.
Nice collectible Valentine postcard with strong color, raised embossed details, decorative hearts, cherubs, dove imagery, and metallic silver background.
Condition: antique pre-owned condition with expected age-related wear. Light corner/edge wear, surface wear, toning, writing and postmark on back. Embossing is still very attractive and displays well. Please review all photos for exact condition.
