2 Old Cabinet Door Hinges 3 X 2 1/2" Steeple Top Victorian Cast Iron Vines

These hinges would be great for renovating an old house that needs some nice matching hinges.

  • The pictures are representative of the hinge condition
  • These hinges are ready to go and swing for the next 100 years
  • Good old cast iron is stronger and harder than the new soft reproduction iron of today
  • Likely cast in the last 1880's to the early 1900’s
  • These have a nice sharp, clean and fancy casting
  • The hinge leaves are matched to each other for the best possible fit. If you remove the pins be sure not to mix up the leaves when reassembling the hinge
  • When I strip the tons of paint off the hinges, I make sure the pins are loose and removable
  • The pattern is also on the back of the hinge and shows when the door is closed
  • The hinges were cleaned and oiled to prevent rust
  • I added a few drops of oil to the pins so they will be ready to use
  • They are ready for paint. Just wash with soap and water to remove the oil
  • They are 5 3/4" long from steeple tip to steeple tip
  • They are 2 1/2" wide
