It is just the case that held the three-album set of "Patriotic Songs of America" from Victor Records. It was first released in 1940, then repressed in 1943. The case obviously has water damage; the three shellac albums inside were destroyed, but it is still a very rare case, so there's a market for it. This was part of Victor Records' "Musical Smart Set," and all the other sets are listed on the inside of the back cover. That is still in pretty good condition. Please look at the pictures closely and judge the condition for yourself. If you have any questions, please message me. I also provide combined shipping when you purchase two or more items, which saves you a substantial amount of money.
