The Killer KG-SERPENT inherits Killer's signature sharp look and direct sound while offering a high level of ease of use and practicality. The basswood body and maple neck combination provides a neutral resonance, and the humbucker pickups deliver a rock and metal-oriented tone with a strong midrange and clear projection when distorted.

The direct switch allows for instant tone cuts and tricky playing, enabling a powerful presence in live performances. Furthermore, while employing an FRT-style bridge, it offers a stable, almost fixed setting, resulting in excellent tuning stability and ease of maintenance.

Despite being an entry-level model, it boasts an excellent balance of appearance, sound, and playability, making it a great choice for a first Killer, and a perfectly capable instrument for live performances.

There is a noticeable dent on the headstock.

The frets were leveled due to uneven height.

The rear pickup has been replaced with a GOTOH HB-Distortion.
