* **Source:** I recently acquired this vintage Matco scan tool unit at an estate/storage auction.

* **Testing & Functionality:** The unit powers on perfectly, the screen lights up, and the buttons feel firm and responsive. However, because I do not have the specific connection cables, proper software cartridges, or compatibility for modern vehicles to do a full diagnostic run, I am unable to test it further.

* **Selling "As-Is":** Due to the lack of testing equipment (cables/cartridges), I am selling this unit strictly AS-IS, exactly as shown in the photos. It is perfect for a technician or collector who already owns the matching Matco/OTC cables and software.

* **Vehicle Compatibility:** Originally designed for professional mechanics working on 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s domestic and import vehicles (including GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, etc. depending on the cartridge/cables you use).

**COSMETIC DETAILS (SCREEN CLARIFICATION):**

The handheld housing is in good, solid vintage condition with normal shop wear. Please note there are two deep scratches/scuffs right next to the screen area on the front. **This is strictly on the outer protective plastic skin/lens cover.** The actual LCD screen sits safely underneath/inside, is completely uncracked, and its visibility is not affected at all.
