A classic traditional British-made double-handed salmon fly rod with beautifully toned hexagonal split cane construction, alloy reel fittings, agate butt ring and original whipped guides.

Dating is likely circa 1950s to early 1960s.
Condition is very good vintage condition overall. Cane sections appear straight with good colour and varnish retention. Ferrules fit correctly and separate cleanly. Cork handle remains sound with honest age-related wear. Original cloth bag shows staining and age marks from storage. Wooden tip carriers are also included.
A very attractive and usable vintage salmon rod ideal for collectors, display, traditional Spey casting or period fishing tackle enthusiasts.
