Ⅰ. Product Introduction

Principle of bag filter system

The bag filter is a new type of filtration system. The inner part of the filter is supported by a metal inner mesh inside the filter. The liquid flows in from the inlet and flows out after being filtered by the filter bag. The impurities are intercepted in the filter bag. The filter bag can be replaced or reused after cleaning.

Ⅱ. Installation

• Preparation

1.1 First of all, please confirm whether the accessories required for installing the bag filter system are ready:

1.2 Check the type 0 seal ring and the type 0 groove on the filter. If the type 0 seal ring is deformed, scratched, or cracked, or there is a problem at the joint of the type 0 seal diagram, please replace it with a new one.

• Installation

When installing, please follow the steps below:

2.1 Place the bag filter on the station to be filtered, connect the inlet flange or pipe thread, fix it, and install the exhaust valve and pressure gauge on the tee.

2.2 Loosen the eye nuts and bolts on the upper cover, and turn the upper cover clockwise or counterclockwise to a reasonable position. (For the clamp type, unscrew the female on the clamp; for the ordinary flange type, unscrew all the fixing bolts anticlockwise with an opening or corresponding wrench.)

2.3 Lightly put the metal inner mesh into the bag filter, so that the inner mesh neckline matches the inner flange of the bag filter.

2.4 Place the filter bag so that the filter bag is consistent with the metal mesh neckline. Note: If the sewn filter is used, please fold the sewn edge of the bag and put it in, which can improve the filtering performance of the sewn filter bag.

2.5 Turn the pressure ring counterclockwise or clockwise, and then turn the nut to press the filter bag ring.

2.6 Put the 0-type seal ring into the 0-type groove, the 0-type seal ring cannot be twisted or deformed, and buckle the filter bag pressure ring on the multi-bag filter.

2.7 Rotate the upper cover, align the upper cover with the lower flange of the bag filter, buckle the eyebolt, and tighten the eye nuts.

2.8 Close the exhaust valve installed on the top of the bag filter.

2.9 Please check whether the connecting pipes are firm and whether the working pressure is within the allowable range.

2.10 Open the water outlet valve.

2.11 Slowly open the water inlet valve, let the water slowly flow into and fill the filter, prevent the liquid from suddenly impacting the filter bag, causing cracks, and then observe whether there is leakage. If there is no leakage, the filter can be started.

Ⅲ. Daily Use and Maintenance.

• Daily Use

The pressure difference at the inlet and outlet of the filter system in operation shall be checked frequently. When the pressure reaches 0.05-0.1Ma, the filter bag shall be replaced in time to avoid the filter bag rupture and the filter basket ring damage caused by excessive pressure difference.

• Open the filtered filter upper cover correctly.

Warning: Do not open the cover when there is pressure in the bag filter, otherwise the residual liquid may spray out, causing liquid loss and personal injury.

Therefore, please operate in strict accordance with the following sequence:

2.1 Close the inlet valve: when there is pressure at the outlet, close the outlet valve.

2.2 After confirming that the pipe connected to the exhaust valve has been connected to a safe place or suction port (especially when filtering toxic and corrosive liquid), open the exhaust valve to prevent the liquid from causing injury and pollution to the operator and the surrounding environment.

2.3 Check the pressure gauge and confirm that the internal pressure is 0. At this time, the bag filter has been separated from the pipe system.

2.4 If there is a drain valve, confirm that the drained liquid is connected to the recycling place, open the drain valve, and close the drain valve after the residual liquid in the bag filter flows through the drain valve. This discharge can be completed in combination with pressurization.

2.5 Unscrew the lifting ring of the upper cover and rotate the upper cover. The multi-bag filter needs to be rotated through a certain angle.

• Replace the filter bag.

3.1 Open the upper cover of the bag filter correctly.

3.2 Place the upper cover firmly, loosen the compression ring nut with a wrench, and carefully take out the filter bag.

3.3 Put in a new filter bag, please refer to the installation process.

• Monitoring filtration quality.

When the liquid inlet pressure is stable, the filtration quality is closely related to the pressure difference inside and outside the filter bag. If the pressure difference is too large, it means that the filter aperture of the filter bag has been blocked and the filtration speed has decreased. Therefore, we suggest that when the bag filter starts to work, the pressure difference should be checked regularly, and the time to replace the filter bag should be determined by the pressure difference displayed by the front and rear pressure gauges. Generally, the pressure difference that the filter bag can withstand is about 0.5-1kg/cm²(0.05-0.1MPa). When the pressure difference reaches this range, the filter bag should be replaced in time to avoid the filter bag from breaking and affecting the filtering effect. If the differential pressure drops suddenly, stop filtering immediately and check whether there is leakage.

5. Discharge of residual liquid under pressure.

When filtering high-viscosity liquid, compressed air can be introduced through the exhaust valve to accelerate the discharge of residual liquid and shorten the waiting time.

Please note that the air used for pressurized discharge must be stable and the pressure should not exceed the working pressure of the filter.

The operation steps are as follows:

5.1.Close the water inlet valve.

5.2 Open the intake valve.

5.3 The gas is introduced into the bag filter and the residual liquid is discharged under pressure.

5.4 Check the outlet pressure gauge, confirm that the gauge pressure is equal to the pressure of compressed air, and confirm that there is no liquid flowing out of the outlet.

5.5 Close the intake valve.

5.6 Open the exhaust valve slowly. When residual liquid sprays out at the outlet of the exhaust valve, it must be led to a safe place or the suction port of the filter.

5.7 After the compressed air is exhausted, close the exhaust valve.

5.8 At this time, there is no pressure in the filter, and the cover can be opened.

6. Cleaning bag filter.

If the filter continues to filter a liquid, it does not need to be cleaned. However, if other kinds of liquid are filtered, it is still necessary to clean the machine before use.

7. Maintenance and replacement of O-ring.

7.1.Maintenance: When using, the 0-type sealing ring should be aligned with the 0-type groove to avoid deformation of the 0-type sealing ring due to improper extrusion. When not filtering, the 0-type sealing ring must be removed and wiped clean, otherwise, the residual liquid will adhere to its surface after solidification, resulting in hardening and poor sealing.

7.2 Replacement: If the O-ring is aged or damaged, please replace it in time. When replacing, select the same type of O-ring.
