“Machika,” Shimoda’s original character, is a playful and mischievous kitten with a slightly clumsy charm. The world shared by Machika and her companions is filled not only with cuteness, but also with warmth and kindness.

This is the artist’s first illustration collection, featuring works created with pastel colored pencils and other traditional materials. In addition to previously released original artworks, the book also includes newly drawn illustrations, pet portraits connected to Machika’s friends, and selected client works.
