Steam Railway magazine issues 43-56, November 1983 to December 1984 in date order. From issue No.45 the magazines incorporate Steam World. Magazines are in used condition with general handling wear. They sit in a non-genuine brown faux-leather A4 binder.
A strong run of steam train magazine content covering preservation, BR memories and big-name locomotives. Highlights include the Great Eastern Traction Puzzle (No.43), Glorious Years at Swindon (No.48), Settle and Carlisle notices (No.54) and the Lavender Line (No.56). The paper smell pulls you back to a 1984 newsstand.
You get all fourteen consecutive issues, No.43 through No.56, plus the brown storage binder shown. The Steam World merger begins at No.45. An ideal vintage steam magazine run for any Steam Raliway or Steam Railwy collector. Covers and pages show shelf wear and light edge tanning, please view the photos as part of the description. Some issues could also have pen marks from previous ownership.
