A powerful deep‑gospel excavation from the Memphis underground, Sacred Soul: The D‑Vine Spirituals Records Story Vol. 1 shines a light on the raw, spirit‑filled recordings captured by the D‑Vine label in the late ’60s and early ’70s.
Curated and restored by Bible & Tire Recording Co., this first volume resurrects the gritty, heartfelt sound of Southern Black gospel — a scene where soul, devotion and lived experience collide.
Featuring rare sides from Elizabeth King, The Southern Sons, The Gospelaires, The Heavenly Stars, The Gospel Four and more, this is essential listening for collectors of sacred soul, deep gospel and Southern roots music.
