1974 Cadillac Eldorado

LH Door Mirror

'74 Cadillac Eldorado left-hand exterior door mirror, used original with remote and hard plastic base gasket.

Mirror housing has nice original appearance, with no apparent breaks, great shine to the chrome with only very minor wear and a couple of tiny pits, and no pitting to speak of on the brushed backside of the housing. 

It is somewhat dirty inside and out, so it should probably be disassembled and cleaned, but you may be able to get by without replating it if using on a driver or show and shine type car.

The remote moves the glass when moved by hand.

Glass is free of cracks, but does have some surface scratching and wear. Date code on it is 5HI7, which I think is May 1977, so it may have been replaced on the '74 Eldoraod parts car at some point.

Base has one of its two mounting studs intact (the other stud is not here, but its thread looks good with nothing broke off in it). There are no fasteners, but a used black plastic base gasket is included as shown.

As removed from a '74 Eldorado parts car. I believe it is correct for 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975 and 1976 Deville, Fleetwood and Eldorado, as well as 1977 and 1978 Eldorado.
