These two releases from Suicidal Tendencies have been played many times over the last 35 years so do show signs of handling, use and wear.
JOIN THE ARMY -
This 1987 Suicidal Tendencies release on Virgin has been played many times over the years and does show signs of use. Despite its age the vinyl plays fine other than low crackle in some of the silent parts.
The outer sleeve is in a Good plus condition with no splits on the seams or spine. There are slight scuffs to the top seam but nothing major. The bottom corner has a slight bend to it (see picture) and sticker residue is lightly visible on the front. Basically looks like a well used 30+ year old sleeve, no major problems with it just handling and use evidence.
The inner sleeve is in a Good plus condition with no splits on the seams. Again this has a slight bend to the same corner (see picture) but generally is in fine condition with just the usual signs of handling and use. Nothing majorly wrong with it.
The vinyl itself is in a Very Good (VG) condition given its age and use. Yes there are hairlines visible but these aren't excessive in number. To the edge of side one there is a small surface mark but other than low crackle in some places the vinyl plays fine. Groovewear seems very light taking in to account the use it has had.
Overall it is a well used 35+ year old vinyl in a decent condition that is often listed on here at varying prices. Not hard to get hold of a copy at a reasonable price and nothing particularly rare about it. Ideal for someone building up there collection of original releases.
CONTROLLED BY HATRED
This classic 1989 Epic release from Suicidal has also been played on numerous occasions over the last 35 years so does show some signs of use, though it still performs with no major issues. This version has sides labelled as 'A' and 'AA', not '1' and '2'.
The outer sleeve is in a Very Good plus condition with no splits on the seams or spine. Other than some minor scuffs to the corners the sleeve looks great with minimal signs of handling.
The inner sleeve is just a generic white sleeve, nothing to see there.
The vinyl itself is in a Very Good (VG) condition and plays with no major issues at all. Visually there are numerous light hairlines and light groovewear can be seen in a couple of places. There are a handful of superficial surface marks but none of these affect the performance of the vinyl.
Overall this is a decent copy of a well used 35+ year old vinyl that is easily available on this site at varying prices.
So what you are getting are two early Suicidal releases that, though not in mint condition, are still in a good condition and can be enjoyed without any major issues despite all the use they have had over the years. A great chance to add two more classic vinyls to your ever growing collection.
VINYL RECORD GRADING
VERY GOOD (VG) - A vinyl record that has some signs of wear and may have some minor defects but still plays well.
PLEASE NOTE - I don't rate any of my vinyl above Very Good as they have all been played on numerous occasions over the last 35 years.
All my vinyl are from my collection I am slowly selling. All get play tested at least three times, once before listing once when sold and once before despatch.
