Weight in choice condition. This historic piece of 18th-century trade weight
was struck following the gold currency crisis to verify worn guineas minted
prior to January 1, 1772.
This piece comes complete with its historic collector's
identification card tracking it to the definitive Lawrence reference guide
(Plate 2, #9).
