Vintage Hardy “The Perfection” 9ft #6, 2 piece Palakona split cane Fly Rod in excellent condition. Lockfast joints, burgundy eye and intermediate whippings, lined butt and tip rings, and a cork handle with up-locking reel seat. This Rod, stamped H60234 (1964) comes with an unbranded twin pocket khaki bag included

* Cane no damage or repair, slight set to tip section 

* Eyes and whipping sound, appear to be original

* Varnish excellent, consistent with a rod of this age

* Markings and stamping present and correct 

* Cork handle clean and complete

* Bag intact

A fine example of a classic fishable rod from the well respected British builder, Hardy’s of Alnwick.
