What this service is for
This service is for Land Rover and Range Rover 48V mild hybrid battery BMS repair, reset and unlock.
It is typically required when the 48V battery has gone into protection mode, crash shutdown,

- Reset and unlock BMS protection / shutdown conditions where possible
- Help recover batteries locked after low voltage, crash event or charging system failure

- Check the battery condition before return
- Specialist service for Land Rover / Range Rover 48V mild hybrid battery systems
Common reasons for failure
- Vehicle left standing for a long period
- Low 12V battery causing the 48V system to shut down
- Faulty belt starter generator / 48V generator
- Faulty DCDC converter
- Vehicle involved in a crash or accident
- Charging system fault not repaired in time
- 48V battery discharged below the safe operating limit
Before sending
Please contact us first and send:
- Clear photo of the battery label
- Vehicle model and year
- Diagnostic report
- 48V battery voltage
- SOC if available
- Fault codes
- Short description of what happened before the fault appeared
This helps us confirm compatibility and advise whether the battery is likely to be recoverable before anything is sent.

- 48V battery locked after low voltage
- Crash shutdown active
- Mild hybrid system unavailable
- Stop/start system not working
- Charging system warning on the dashboard
- Vehicle stuck in safe mode or restricted performance
- BMS faults remain after generator or DCDC converter replacement
- Battery not working after the vehicle was left standing
How to proceed
Please contact us first with your battery photo, vehicle details, fault symptoms, voltage, SOC, and diagnostic report.
Once compatibility is confirmed, we will advise you on sending the battery or BMS module to us.
Important
If the original problem was caused by a faulty generator, faulty DCDC converter, wiring issue, or accident damage,
the root cause must be repaired before refitting the battery. Otherwise the battery may lock again or the same fault may return.
