Selling a genuine Sennheiser e935 dynamic vocal microphone strictly FOR PARTS or REPAIR. The microphone does not currently pass vocal audio, but it is not completely dead. Please read the diagnostic details below before bidding: The Issue: The microphone does not output voice signals. However, when plugging it in and touching the capsule/voice coil terminals, it passes a loud electrical buzz/signal. This indicates that the internal transformer, XLR assembly, lower wiring harness, and housing are all 100% intact and working perfectly. The Capsule: The issue is isolated to the microscopic voice coil wiring or a seized diaphragm. Visually, the copper coil is clean and unburnt, but it will need micro-soldering or a capsule replacement to fully function again. Cosmetic Condition: The microphone body has standard wear from stage use. The original grille cap has heavy rust/corrosion and degraded foam (see photos). You will want to replace the grille cap. This is an absolute goldmine for a DIY audio tech, someone looking for a donor Sennheiser chassis/transformer, or anyone wanting to drop in a replacement capsule for a cheap, high-end stage mic. Includes: * Sennheiser e935 microphone body/capsule assembly (as pictured).
