The Primevals is the long‑awaited fantasy adventure film originally conceived by stop‑motion animator David Allen in the 1960s and finally completed in 2024. The soundtrack, composed and orchestrated by Richard Band, pays homage to classic fantasy cinema with sweeping orchestral cues, dramatic motifs, and atmospheric passages. The score evokes the spirit of Ray Harryhausen’s monster epics, combining adventure, suspense, and wonder. This 2024 Silva Screen Records release presents the full soundtrack across two heavyweight coloured vinyl discs, making it a collector’s edition for soundtrack enthusiasts.
