Product Overview:

This product uses a Geiger-Müller counter, an instrument for measuring the intensity of ionizing radiation (beta particles, gamma radiation, and X-rays). It operates with a gas counting tube or a small chamber as a detector. When the applied voltage to the detector is within a certain range, each ionizing radiation event in the tube generates an ion pair, producing an electrical signal of equal magnitude. This signal is recorded by connected electronic devices to measure the number of radiation events per unit time. The alarm threshold for the measurement rate can be set to any desired level.
