Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway collector lot featuring 10 Learning Curve / Gullane-era wooden train pieces, mostly from the desirable 2003–2004 period.

This is a strong mixed Thomas Wooden Railway bundle with named engines, character vehicles, tenders, coaches and harder-to-find themed rolling stock from early 2000s releases. Includes Rheneas, Percy, Alfie the Excavator, Annie, Gordon’s Tender, Douglas’ Tender, Fossil Car / Sodor Museum T-Rex Exhibit, Sodor Recycling Car, Center Island Quarry Conveyor Belt Car and Fog Horn Car.

Included pieces (to the best of my knowledge, this isn't exact, just from my research):

Rheneas - Narrow Gauge Engine #2 in carmine/dark red livery. Learning Curve LC99077 style release, also associated with sets such as Rheneas and the Roller Coaster Set and Rheneas and the Dinosaur Bones Set.

Alfie the Excavator - green construction vehicle from The Pack, with magnetic lifting bucket arm. Bottom marked “ALFIE / 1734 / WJ00”. Learning Curve LC99198, introduced 2003.

Fossil Car - blue flatbed car labelled “Sodor Museum T-Rex Exhibit” with T-Rex fossil load. Bottom marked “FOSSIL CAR”. Associated with Stepney with Museum Cars, the 2003 Vehicle Assortment and Home Video Bonus Packs.

Douglas’ Tender - black coal tender marked “10” in gold. Bottom marked “DOUGLAS’ TENDER”. Originally paired with Douglas.

Percy - classic green #6 engine with green wheels. Bottom marked “PERCY”. Learning Curve LC99006 style release, early 2000s era.

Sodor Recycling Car - dark green open-top car labelled “Sodor Recycling”. Bottom marked “RECYCLING CARS”. Part of the Recycling Cars 2-car pack, Learning Curve LC99168, introduced 2002.

Center Island Quarry Conveyor Belt Car - blue quarry car with working conveyor-style load section and boulder load. Bottom marked “CONVEYOR BELT CAR”. Part of the Center Island Quarry Conveyor Belt & Boulder Car 2-pack, 2003 Learning Curve / Gullane era.

Gordon’s Tender - blue coal tender marked “4” in gold with blue wheels. Bottom marked “GORDON’S TENDER”. Originally paired with Gordon.

Annie - brown passenger coach with grey roof and face. Bottom marked “ANNIE”. Early 2000s Learning Curve version with cursive side name styling.

Fog Horn Car - grey warning device car on yellow flatbed, labelled “Warning Device / FOG!”. Bottom marked “FOG HORN CAR”. Part of the Fog Cars 2-car pack, LC99191, early 2000s Learning Curve era. Horn piece presses down for fog horn function, though sound/function is not guaranteed unless specifically tested.

A great lot for Thomas Wooden Railway collectors, Learning Curve Thomas fans, early 2000s Thomas & Friends collectors, Sodor Railway layouts, replacement pieces, themed cargo car collectors, narrow gauge collections, quarry/museum/fog/recycling themed train setups or anyone rebuilding a classic wooden railway collection.

This is sold as a mixed loose lot, not as complete original retail sets. Some pieces were originally sold individually, while others came from 2-packs, bonus packs or larger themed sets.

Pre-owned played-with condition with normal signs of age, handling and use. Pieces show visible play wear including paint chips, edge wear, scuffs, marks, sticker/print wear, wheel wear, magnet wear and general cosmetic wear from use.

Magnets and wheels are present from visual inspection, but play performance, rolling smoothness, magnet strength and any interactive/sound features have not been fully tested unless otherwise stated. Fog Horn Car horn/sound function is not guaranteed. Alfie’s bucket arm is present, but movement/play function should be considered used and untested.
