Fish line maintenance
1.After each fishing trip, the clean fishing line should be gently wrapped around the reel in a timely manner, trying to make the fishing line loose and not tight, as prolonged stress can cause the fishing line to lose its original elasticity.
2. It is better to choose a circular winding device for better performance, while a square winding device with all four sides being right angles should be placed for a long time. The strength of the bent point of the fishing line will decrease, and the released fishing line will be wiped clean with a cloth to remove any water that may have adhered to it. This is because the water quality in the fishing area is diverse, including a certain amount of oil, salt, alkali, acid, and other components. If the water containing these ingredients is not wiped dry, the disconnection will reduce its strength due to corrosion.
3. All fishing lines should be stored in a dry, dark, and pollution-free place to prevent moisture, deterioration, and aging.
4. When fishing outside, wrap the reel with fishing line and do not put it together with other debris to avoid scratching the fishing line, and do not put it together with grease.
5.If the color of the fishing line changes, fades, turns yellow, or becomes brittle. It indicates that the fishing line has aged or started to age, and should be replaced in a timely manner. We must not take chances and leave the hidden danger of broken lines and fish running away.
