This commemorative plate is made of clear glass with frosted or satin etching and features the state of Michigan emblem and a depiction of the state's outline. The plate is 9 inches in diameter, and is in the original velvet-lined box. The Fostoria Glass Company produced a series of these plates for different states. The molds for these plates were destroyed after a year, making them limited-edition collectibles.
