The Robertshaw 1751-012 is the temperature-adjustment knob for Unitrol 7000-series water heater gas control valves. It mounts on the valve's thermostat shaft and is what the homeowner or technician turns to set water temperature between Vacation, Warm, Hot, and Very Hot positions (typically 90°F to 160°F range).

The 1751-012 is the white version; the sister part 1751-028 is the same knob in black. Either color fits the same valve — choose whichever matches the original or your customer's preference.

Common failures: knob cracks at the D-shaft hole from over-tightening, splits from being heat-soaked against a hot tank jacket, snaps off when forced past the stop position, or simply goes missing during prior service. A fresh OEM knob restores positive temperature adjustment and full safety-stop function.
