For optimal performance, use a SATA 3.0 data cable.
The PCI-E slot must be version 2.0 or above. If using version 1.0, the speed will not exceed 250 MB/s. As long as it is version 2.0, the PCI-E slot can be either x1 or x16.
After inserting the card, you can check its operating mode, "gen1" indicates it is working in 1.0 mode, while "gen2" indicates 2.0 mode.
